Voting is your right … and your responsibility. Thank you for taking the time to find out how you can cast your ballot in the upcoming municipal election.

 

Who can vote in Ward 10?

You must be a Canadian citizen to vote, at least 18 years of age, a resident of Ward 10 or a property owner in Ward 10. Eligibility and Identification requirements.

The voter’s list is managed by MPAC and is different from provincial and federal election lists. To find out if you are on the voter’s list, click here.

When to vote

Election Day

Monday, October 24 – 10 am to 8 pm

Advance Poll Days

Thursday, October 13 – 12 pm to 8 pm

Friday, October 14 – 12 pm to 8 pm

Saturday, October 15 – 9 am to 5 pm

Sunday, October 16 – 9 am to 5 pm

 

OR

 

Early Advance Poll Days

Friday – Sunday, Oct 7-9 – 10 am to 4 pm

Who to vote for

You will be asked to vote for three offices on your ballot: Mayor, Councillor, Trustee
 
All Mayoral candidates will be the same on every ballot across the city.
Only the Councillor candidates from the ward where you reside will be on your ballot.
Only the Trustee candidates from the ward where you reside AND from the school board you support (through your taxes) will be on your ballot.
