Vote Sue McFadden for Ward 10!

Mississauga’s next municipal election will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026.

You will vote to elect the Mayor, your City/Regional Councillors and School Board Trustee for the City of Mississauga for the 2026 – 2030 term.

Why Should I Vote?

Many people ask “why should I vote?” As a Canadian citizen, voting is your right and responsibility. Our community is shaped by the outcome of every election. By voting in the City of Mississauga’s municipal election on Monday October 26, 2026, you help shape the future of our city.

In Mississauga, fewer people have been voting in recent municipal elections. When fewer residents vote, a small number of voters end up deciding who represents the entire city. It is important that every voice is heard. Higher participation helps strengthen trust, improve decision-making and ensures more voices are represented.

The leaders you elect make many important decisions, including how your tax dollars are spent in your community. City Council makes decisions that influence how neighbourhoods grow and how services are delivered across Mississauga. The City provides many services, including road repairs, snow removal, transit stops, parks, and recreation programs – these are all planned and managed by the people you elect. When you vote in a municipal election, you help decide what matters most in your neighbourhood and city. That means your vote matters too!

As the 2026 Municipal Election gets closer, your participation matters more than ever. Thank you for your ongoing support and for being engaged in your locally elected government for Mississauga Ward 10!
