Ward 10 Facts and Stats
Geographically, Ward 10 Mississauga is one of the smallest wards in the City of Mississauga.
The population, however, continues to grow as new homes and condominiums fill the landscape.
Ward 10 was first created in 2006 when the population of northwest Mississauga was growing. At that time, Ward 9 was the largest ward in the City of Mississauga. City Council approved a change that added two new wards: Ward 6 became Ward 6 and Ward 11 with minor tweaks to the boundaries of the adjacent wards. Ward 9 became Ward 9 and Ward 10.
Ward 10 boundaries extend from St. Lawrence & Hudson Railway from Centreline of Hwy 407 to Tenth Line, Tenth Line south to Britannia Road, Britannia Road east to Winston Churchill Boulevard, Winston Churchill Boulevard south to Eglinton Avenue, Eglinton Avenue west to Centreline of Hwy 407, Centreline of Hwy 407 north to the St. Lawrence & Hudson Railway

Ward 10 Key Features
Mississauga’s Ward 10, which encompasses the largely residential Churchill Meadows and Lisgar neighbourhoods, is served by the Peel District School Board PDSB (English Public) and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board DPCDSB (English Catholic) Learn more.
The Churchill Meadows Library and Older Adult Centre is located at 3801 Thomas Street at the corner of Churchill Meadows Blvd. It is attached to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School. The library has many rooms designed and dedicated to support visitors with different interests, passions and needs. With spaces for adults, children and youth, there are opportunities for learning and engagement throughout the library for all.
Ward 10 features extensive green spaces and local community hubs, including the Meadowvale Rotary Park, and amenities such as splash pads built for families at Lisgar Green and Tobias Mason Parks. The Osprey Marsh (Near Osprey Boulevard) has a stunning naturalized stormwater management facility that features a popular paved walking trail looping around the water. It is heavily utilized for bird watching and local nature walks. Lisgar Fields (3360 Lisgar Drive) features multiple lit soccer pitches, baseball diamonds, a playground, and is surrounded by paved community pathway.
Ward 10 residents are primarily serviced by MiWay, the city’s transit system, which provides multiple routes connecting neighborhoods to local shopping centers, as well as the GO Transit and other terminals in the local and regional transit network for commuting.
The transit website allows you to check fares, schedules, route maps and service changes. The site also includes information on GO co-fare, Presto pass, bus rapid transit, U-pass, where to buy tickets, and much more. Use the trip planner feature and get real-time bus information through third-party apps such as Transit or Google Maps. MiWay routes are monitored regularly for passenger usage in an effort to provide the best and most efficient service possible to residents. When using a PRESTO Card, the City now provides free transit to children 12 years of age and seniors 65 years and older.
The Sauga Summer Pass is a popular program for 13-17 year olds, encouraging new transit users by combining a pass that offers free transit with free swimming and fitness centre access during July and August. For information on how to apply for this pass visit the city website.
